The sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are transmitted mainly by sexual contact without the use of condoms with a person that is infected, and usually manifest themselves through wounds, running sores, blisters or warts. The best known are gonorrhea and syphilis.

As doenças sexualmente transmissíveis (DST) são transmitidas, principalmente, por contato sexual sem o uso de camisinha com uma pessoa que esteja infectada, e geralmente se manifestam por meio de feridas, corrimentos, bolhas ou verrugas. As mais conhecidas são gonorreia e sífilis.
